We are seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Administrator to address critical data quality and management challenges in our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database. This role focuses on resolving data inconsistencies, improving data quality processes, and maintaining CMDB integrity while working closely with stakeholders across the organization.

What to do:

CMDB Data Management

  • Monitor and maintain CMDB data quality, including CI lifecycle management from creation to retirement

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicate records, and orphaned CIs

  • Implement data cleansing processes and maintain data governance policies

  • Provide regular updates on data quality metrics and improvement initiatives

  • Collaborate with Data Owners to maintain accurate CI definitions

Technical Requirements

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (Mandatory)

  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration

  • Understanding of CMDB fundamentals, CI classes, and relationship structures

  • Knowledge of CMDB data quality processes

  • ITIL Foundation v3/v4 (advantageous)

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure components and their relationships (advantageous)

  • Strong documentation and reporting abilities

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with stakeholders

  • Problem-solving skills for data relationship issues

  • Very good self-organisational skills
