Job description
Banking has a name. We create it.
More than 11 million people across Europe organize their personal finances with George. Where design meets technology, George stands out on an open platform. We invite you to develop this platform with us into the next dimension. We achieve this by empowering people to understand, manage and, last but not least, enjoy one of their most personal things: their money.
Join us in making banking simple, intelligent, and personal.
Your role:
As our Office Manager (m/f/d), you keep the engine running - especially when it comes to finance and daily operations.
You support our finance and admin processes hands-on, make sure things are organized, and help the team stay on top of everything. You don’t need to know everything from day one - but you’re curious, reliable, and ready to learn fast.
What to do:
Handle invoice workflows and support accounts payable processes
Help track costs and keep an eye on budgets (plan vs. actuals)
Prepare and maintain basic financial data and reports
Support cash-flow tracking and financial overviews
Work with tools like SAP and internal systems (we’ll show you!)
Coordinate with finance, controlling, and external partners
Support HR admin tasks (contracts, onboarding coordination, employee data)
Organize meetings, and day-to-day office topics
Keep things structured, organized, and running smoothly
Job requirements
You check these boxes:
Fluency in English and German (C1 level)
Interest in finance, numbers, and structured work
First experience in office management, finance, or admin is a plus
A hands-on mindset - you like to get things done
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliability and a structured way of working
Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and processes
Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, friendliness, and a great sense of humour
Should you have previous experience in the area of IT, legal or HR – awesome! Make sure to let us know
You will impress us by:
Being reliable and detail-oriented when handling numbers and processes
Keeping things organized and following through on tasks
Supporting the team proactively and jumping in where needed
Learning quickly and improving processes step by step
Being the go-to-person for new team members, making sure they feel welcomed and have everything they need in order to start rocking.
Staying calm and structured even when things get busy
Why you will like us:
A modern, flexible work environment (remote-friendly & flexible hours)
A supportive, open-minded, and friendly team
Top-notch equipment (MacBook, mobile device, and everything you need)
Interest groups and clubs: Take part in discussions and get involved in projects. Numerous interest groups invite you to engage with a topic
Opportunities to attend conferences and grow your network
A competitive salary based on your experience (minimum salary of 3.155.- gross/month for this full-time position, as required by law)
The way we are:
At George Labs, the success of our people is more than a motto – it is our mindset. We strongly believe in diversity and inclusion and encourage everyone to bring their whole self to work.
