(Junior) Intranet System Engineer – SharePoint / MS Viva (all humans)

We are inviting you to become a part of our Intranet Team, contributing to our mission to get communication to the next level within Erste Group. In this capacity, you will collaborate with Product Owners and Business Owners to continuously improve our Intranet Solution. Your responsibilities will include managing the technical operations and expansion of the intranet service which is based on Microsoft SharePoint and Viva Connections technology. You will coordinate with colleagues and vendors/suppliers to oversee incident resolution and work closely with the relevant technology.

What to do:

• Operating and extending the intranet for 50,000 people in an agile team
• Implementation of requirements, troubleshoot and advice on technical issues with our business partners in the context of the intranet solution
• Supporting and advising business partners for the development of new features
• Plan and set up SharePoint environments, carry out migration projects and work closely with your team and related departments
• Support users with 2^nd and 3^rd Level Support as well as administration in moderating the taxonomy of meta information and search engine optimization to ensure the best UX for the employees of Erste Group
• Ensuring and adhering to the necessary processes for proper operation

• Technical background and first experience with development or scripting
• Professional contact with SharePoint and Microsoft 365
• First experience (school, university, internships) in the areas of intranet, compliance & information protection
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform is an advantage but not a must
• Experience in developing SPFX web parts with TypeScript, HTML and SASS or CSS as well as in software development is another plus for the role
• Experience in PowerShell scripting of SharePoint tasks and interest of front-end UI development (React & Fluent UI is an advantage
• Interest in conducting workshops; analyzing the current situation, creating requirements catalogs and develop initial solution proposals
• You have an eye for design and excellent written and spoken English skills (C1)

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - we are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 2.500,- gross per month for this full time position.
