The Head of People & Culture is the key role within Erste Digital when it comes to all tasks on the People & Culture agenda, reporting to one of the two Managing Directors of Erste Digital. You are leading the efforts on developing and implementing a modern, state-of-the-art People & Culture strategy for an international IT company. This role is perfect for a forward-thinking, data-driven and tech-savvy HR professional who thrives in an ever-evolving environment.
What to do:
Define, create and implement the HR strategy in accordance with Erste Digital’s strategy, Erste Group’s Vision and People & Culture strategy
Build strong relationships with Managing Directors and Erste Digital’s Leaders to understand their needs and be able to convert them into actions ensuring high employee engagement across the organization
Manage all HR topics across our IT hubs (Vienna, Bratislava, Košice, Prague)
Strongly cooperate with Erste Group Centers of Excellence (e.g. Recruiting, Development) to ensure high quality of services and activities
Position Erste Digital in all relevant labor markets and establish a pipeline for future talents
Strategically plan and orchestrate the Learning and Development activities with Group People Development
Further develop Compensation activities according to market needs
Steer the HR Budget and ensure proper planning and reporting including together with Finance
Guide and control the HR administration including payroll in cooperation with our HR Service
Inspire, lead and develop (partly in matrix function) a team of HR Business Partners and HR Experts
Job requirements
You check these boxes:
A well-rounded HR Leadership profile with broad experience in managing HR functions within international organizations, ideally in IT/Tech environment
Strong interest in IT topics and digitalization
Proven track record as a credible and capable HR leader preferred in the IT Industry
Profound know-how of local labor law (AT is a must, SK highly welcome) and experience in cooperating with the workers council
A strong team player and motivating leader who can work effectively with international teams and business units and ensures the development of the People & Culture team
An excellent command of English and German is a must, Slovak language would be an asset
Strong prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to move effortlessly between strategy, implementation and tactical opportunities

The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 90.000,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
