COO GRC and Outsourcing is a central governance unit. It operates in tension between regulatory requirements (Outsourcing, IT Risk, Resolution) on the one hand and eagerness to “implement and go” by IT and business on the other.

to ensure maximum compliance and enable found decision-making while keeping the negative impact on business activities low.


Your Tasks

  • Translate theoretical regulatory guidelines and regulations about Third Party Risk, Outsourcing, and IT into practical internal policies and procedures

  • Align their creation with relevant stakeholders like IT operations, Security and Non-Financial-Risk, ensuring the required “buy-in” and support

  • Take a leading role in the rollout and governance of the policy, including user support, monitoring and continuous improvement of related processes and tools

  • Act as Governance Officer, taking decisions on service categorizations and determining the required deliverables

  • Act as an ambassador for our topics: inform and convince that activities are needed and meaningful - in Austria and our CEE entities

Job requirements

Your Background

  • Legal background with regulatory experience preferred; additional knowledge in IT, Non-Financial Risk, or Business Intelligence is a plus. A solid foundation in some areas and eagerness to build expertise in additional areas is essential

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Hands-on mindset to work self-independently

  • Strong resilience and capacity to overcome setbacks

  • Excellent English and good German skills, both written and spoken

  • The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is 49.772,00 EUR gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
