Business Analyst for Statutory and Regulatory Reporting (all humans)

Group Statutory Reporting Solutions is the department within Erste Digital providing services for Reporting toward OeNB and other Authorities.

Our experienced team is responsible for large databases deriving and preparing data for Statutory and Regulatory Reporting to ensure compliance with external requirements. We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our team help shape our services.

What to do:

• Facilitate all phases of solution development by acting as a reliable interface between business and IT to shape the future of reporting in Erste Group and Sparkassen

• Support operation together with solution management

• Detailed specification of business requirements in the area of cube based (“Gemeinsames Meldewesen-Datenmodell”) and template based reporting

• Closely collaborate with a team of developers in order to develop efficient solutions

• Understand the complexities of a bank but still think outside the box

You check these boxes:

• Fluent in German and English - verbal and written communication

• Good understanding of the banking business as such

• Experience with business and/or IT analysis

• Basic knowledge of software development life cycle and management techniques

• Excellent communication and prioritization skills

• Critical thinker with proactive problem solving skills

• Experience with data structures and querying of data (SQL)

• Know-how in the field of BI / DWH and technical affinity

• Statutory and Regulatory Reporting knowledge is a plus

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 53.802,-- gross per year.
